Visit the Mansions & Jazz Spots of
Ray Chandler! (There's a MAP!)

A "book review" of a map! The Raymond Chandler Map of Los Angeles: A Guide to the Usual & Unusual takes you on a book-by-book tour through Los Angeles using sights and scenes from Raymond Chandler’s novels, like The Big Sleep, The Lady in the Lake, and Farewell, My Lovely, as the primary landmarks and attractions. I’ve done plenty of book reviews, but I never thought I’d do a review of a map that’s based on books, but here we happily are! And what a treat this map is! The authors of The Raymond Chandler Map of Los Angeles have brilliantly and expertly combed through Chandler’s novels and matched up book locations visited by fictional gumshoe Philip Marlowe as he navigates the city’s treacherous underbelly. They provide factual and wonderful historical information about each location, including whether you can access it today, and what its current use is. There's LOTS more! Check it out in the video!
